The CRLV digital is the current format for vehicle documents in Brazil. It is issued after the payment of the annual licensing fee and is valid for one year, according to the Brazilian Traffic Code (CTB). This app teaches users how to download and access their CRLV digital on their mobile devices.

Since 2020, Detrans (State Departments of Traffic) no longer issue the CRLV in paper format. It is now the responsibility of the driver to download and print the digital document for their vehicle. The CRLV serves as proof that the vehicle is properly registered and licensed with the Detran, allowing it to circulate throughout the national territory.
